Women deserve to be celebrated every day but we took the opportunity to express our gratitude and solidarity with women who were widowed early in life, by distributing ration along with sewing machines, in an effort to empower them.
We dedicate this Women’s Day to social reformers and philanthropists, Padma Shri Late Smt. Sindhutai Sapkal (an ardent supporter of our cause) and philanthropists Padma Shri Ms Lila Poonawalla (Founder, Lila Poonawalla Foundation) and Ms Ritu Chhabria (Managing Trustee, Mukul Madhav Foundation) who never fall short of extending their support to Mahatma Gandhi School, Pune.
Our deepest gratitude to the honorable Chief Guest Dr Jayashree Todkar alongside Mr Rajendra Gugale, Ms Lobas Paradkar, Mr Ashish Deshpande, Mr Jignesh Fluria, Ms Indrani Ghosh, Ms Padmini Pai and Mr Dhaval Gandhi for gracing the occasion. Last but not the least, the wonderful team of support staff, students, and teachers who have dedicated themselves to serving the society.
