Medical Aid & Mobility Access
Health is the foundation on which independence and opportunity are built. But for many in the communities we serve, medical care is a luxury they cannot afford and mobility, something as simple as moving freely from one place to another, is often an impossible dream.
At Mahatma Gandhi School, our mission extends beyond education into the realm of restoring health and freedom. Over the years, we have and continue to:
Provide lifesaving medicines and treatment for those battling chronic illnesses.
Support hysterectomy surgeries for women in urgent need, ensuring they can access care.
Donate wheelchairs to People for whom mobility mean’s not just movement, but the to live and work.
Each intervention is deeply personal. A widow receiving her first wheelchair after years of dependence on others, a mother regaining her health and strength after surgery, a patient receiving medicine that means another month of life without pain.
We believe that every person deserves the chance to live fully, with strength and self-respect. And in every wheelchair delivered, every prescription filled and every surgery supported, there is a quiet message: you are not forgotten and you are not alone.
